Battery We recommend using brand new and known to be current alkaline batteries. Low-quality or previously used batteries can cause your clock to lose time or stop working. Please make sure to insert the batteries correctly, following the symbols in the battery compartment. Improper insertion of the battery can lead to overheating and/or leakage. Ensure that the battery is pushed under the battery terminal to prevent short circuits, overheating, and/or leakage. Regularly replace the batteries to maintain optimal performance and reduce the risk of battery leakage and corrosion. As a general rule, larger clocks with heavier hands will require more batteries as they consume more power.

Time Setting Always use the dial on the back of the clock to adjust the time. If your clock has an open face, avoid moving your hands in front of the clock as it may damage the mechanism.

Environmental Care/Suitability/Precautions Please note that your clock is designed for indoor household and light commercial use only. It should not be used in high-humidity environments such as conservatories, summerhouses, greenhouses, cabins, swimming pools, bathrooms, stovetops, or outdoors. Additionally, avoid exposing the clock to extreme heat or direct sunlight, including but not limited to sunlight through a window, conservatory, summerhouse, greenhouse, stovetop, radiator, fire, or wood burner. Intense heat can cause melting, shrinking, warping, or discoloration of the clocks, cases, and parts, as well as causing the clocks to stop or the hands to loosen. Damage caused by these environments/conditions is explicitly not covered under warranty, and repairs may not be possible due to corrosion affecting other parts and materials.

How to Hang a Wall Clock Some of our clocks come with a metal hanging rim, while others have built-in metal or molded acrylic brackets. Make sure to use a wall mounting appropriate for your wall type and the type of hanging system the clock has. If you're unsure about what type of wall mounting to use, consult a professional builder or tradesperson. Ensure that your wall is strong enough to hold your clock and that your chosen mounting is securely fixed to the wall. The mounting should have an appropriate lip size to prevent the clock from falling.

General Maintenance It is important to keep your clock dry at all times, which includes avoiding exposure to damp walls, humid rooms, and moisture, among others. Avoid extreme cold and extreme hot environments, as well as excessive exposure to sunlight. Keep the clock free from dust to maintain the mechanism's good condition. Avoid cleaning the clock with water, cleaning agents, or abrasive cloths.

Cleaning Clean the clock with a soft, dry cloth only. Do not use water or cleaning agents as they may damage the surface or workings.

Warranty/Guarantee All clocks purchased directly from GüzelArt are covered by a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase. Space Hotel and Jones clocks purchased directly from GüzelArt have a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty covers mechanical and material defects but does not cover damages caused by misuse, tampering, environmental damage, physical damage, or battery leakage. If your clock has a genuine defect that meets the warranty conditions and is within the warranty period, we will complete the necessary part replacement and/or rectify any defect or action identified by one of our fully trained technicians, or replace the clock in the same or similar manner if an identical copy is not available.

All other rights resulting from errors in our services are expressly excluded. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary from country to country. Nothing in this warranty will affect your legal rights in the UK.
